SSBL Opening Day Parade – April 5th, 9:30 am. Graphics: Summit Softball & Baseball League logo; fireworks; softball / baseball ball stitching.

We welcome all Summit Softball and Baseball League players and their families to join us for our Opening Day and Parade at Memorial Field. This is a great event for our entire league to come together and formally kick off the season - All players should wear their rec uniforms. Here’s the schedule:

9:30-9:45 am - All Rec teams (Softball & Baseball) begin to arrive and line up behind 1st base dugout on Myrtle Field

10:00 am - Parade begins, led by our youngest players (T-Ball)

10:30-ish - All players take their spots on the field

10:40-ish - President will welcome everyone to Opening Day. The national anthem will be played. Then the ceremonial first pitch(es) are thrown.

You do not want to miss this fun-filled event, which includes a ceremonial “first pitch” Plus, all players wearing their rec jersey will receive a free Chi Dog from Mr. Chi after the ceremony.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase concessions and merchandise from the 12U Spartans headed to Cooperstown this summer (cash or Venmo accepted).
