Summit Softball and Baseball League (SSBL) strives to offer the best possible baseball and softball experience for Summit youth. The success of this mission is dependent on parent support of the league and its various activities. To promote volunteering, a work bond fee is included in baseball and softball registration costs and will be returned to the family after volunteer hours are fulfilled.

Work bond fees of $75 per player are assessed for the first two players in each family. Refunds will be issued at specified points during the season upon completion of at least two volunteer hours per work bond fee paid. Parents may opt not to volunteer and forfeit their deposit, but volunteer time and talent is critical to SSBL’s continued success!

There are many ways to help, including as a team coach, event volunteer, member of the SSBL board, and many, many more. Please consider one of these opportunities to support the league and recoup your work bond! Contact workbond@summitssbl.org for additional information or to volunteer.

Please use the work bond form to record and submit any hours volunteered. Completed work bond forms are due no later than June 30, 2023. If you fail to submit your completed work bond form by this date or do not complete a volunteer assignment, you will forfeit your work bond to SSBL. Kindly note refunds will be issued only if no outstanding balance is owed to SSBLand work bonds cannot be carried over to the following season.
